Four dancers from A Time to Dance Studio received highest honors after a very successful weekend competing against local studios. NYLA Dance hosted a regional competition at Pensacola State College on March 9th. A Time to Dance took home all four titles and crowns for the 2nd consecutive year. Megan Gragg received 1st place overall Senior Solo and won Senior Miss NYLA. Karlee Dillard received 1st place overall Teen Solo and won Teen Miss NYLA. Isabella Paone received 1st place overall Junior Solo and won Junior Miss NYLA, and Sophia Villanova received 1st place overall Tiny Solo and won Tiny Miss NYLA. Megan Gragg, Alexa Poscic and Courtney Bruce each won the Steve Bielecki Award for Emotional Performance as well. These three dancers received scholarships to compete at the NYLA Dance Nationals in Biloxi, MS on June 21-23. The studio and dancers also received numerous other honors including:
Alexa Poscic received 3rd place overall Senior Solo and won an Emotional Award. Courtney Bruce received 1st place overall Intermediate Senior Solo and won an Emotional Award. Sierra Fernald received 1st place overall Intermediate Teen Solo. Brook Rayborne received 2nd place overall Junior Solo. Amber Lloyd received 2nd place overall Tiny Solo. “All for Love” received 1st place overall in Teen Small Group and 1st overall for 12 and over. “Glam” received 1st place overall in Senior Duet/Trio. “Raining Men” received 1st place overall in Senior Small Group and won the Best LA Style Dance award. “Boogie Police” received 1st place overall in Junior Small Group and 1st overall for 12 and under. “Swagger Jagger” received 3rd place overall in Junior Small Group. “Mr. Personality” received 1st place overall in Tiny Duet/Trio. “Say Something” received 2nd place overall in Tiny Duet/Trio.A Time to Dance also took home all 3 Choreography Awards, 3 out of the 4 Emotional Awards, 2 of the 3 Costume Awards and Best Prop Award.
The A Time to Dance Team participated in back-to-back regional dance competitions. From March 1-3, the dancers competed against dozens of dance studios and nearly 600 dances in the Southeast Region in the Showstoppers Regional Competition in Mobile, AL. Again, prestigious honors were earned.

Due to their exceptional performance, all of the dancers are qualified to attend the Showstopper National Finals this summer.
The A Time to Dance Team will be performing at FunFest on Saturday, April 27th at 1:00pm on Navarre Beach.

A Time To Dance was established in 2004 to provide the highest caliber of dance training to all students ages 2 and up at all levels, while developing confidence and self-esteem in a caring supportive environment.
